Bench Mark Works Canada proudly occupies an historic building on the “main street” of Milford, Ontario, a hamlet that this year celebrates its 200^th birthday. Milford boasts a mill pond that once powered saw, grist and carding mills that gave the community its name.

The village is situated on County Road 10 in the southern section of beautiful Prince Edward County, a large island in Lake Ontario. “The County,” as its called locally, is connected to the Ontario mainland by three bridges. It’s in the middle of the Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal triangle, approximately a three hour drive to either of the major cities.

Many fine “biking” roads can be found in the County, good surfaced roads feature a mix of rolling hills and great scenic views.

The County has established a thriving “wine country” lifestyle with  almost a dozen wineries in operation along with fine eateries, artisan food producers and deluxe accommodations. A successful microbrewery is doing a booming business with several others planned.
